Family Photo's

Our second son had a friend come over the other day with a cold and a cough, he asked what he could take to feel better. I gave him some "1st defence" essential oil and he reported the next day he slept great and was feeling better. Love the ease and convenience of this great stuff that works!!

Last week we went and took family photo's. Of course there was a bit of grumbling, and "why do we have to do this?" but they turned out beautiful. It was lots of fun to take pictures at a great park just down the street. We have some great pictures by a bridge, waterfall and dock. I love my family and love the pictures that will help us freeze frame this time of life.

I had the best week!!

Last Month my husband and I went to California together with a few friends and stayed at a beautiful beach house. We had a great mix of playing and relaxing. We rented wet suits and boogie boards, and I learned the awesome power of the ocean. I have never played in the ocean and had so much fun before. One afternoon I relaxed in a window seat, laying in the sun, listening to the ocean, watching friends playing cards and thinking "this is the life!!!"

I had to continue to place orders and work with customers during the week but I was able to handle all of it from my iphone in less then an hour every morning. How cool is it to work less then an hour a day, on the beach, and grow my business! Can life get better then that? Well...yes...when I got home my teenage children missed me, and had the house clean. (That was like the cherry on top.)

I took the packets of Beyond Tangy with us for our nutrition. It was very convenient and we felt great and full of energy the whole vacation. I love the new serving packets!!!

Christmas time is here. I am so excited.

Our kids are helping with the animals everyday and we are having fun serving as a family. We only have one more processing scheduled right now. We are hoping to start with new chicks again in February or March.

Winter Chickens

Wow, sometimes it is hard to see the chickens running around in the snow! They sure do love walking around in the snow.

We want to thank everyone for their patience in our slower growing season this year.

We had our first cold day processing last week and it wasn't to bad. The cold weather cooled the chickens faster so that was a plus. And for us, portable heaters worked great!

Blog Schedule Update

Hello and welcome to fall! I love this time of year! This is the first time in several years we have been able to enjoy a real fall with all the warm weather and beautiful colors! I love it!!

Please look at the updated schedule for Chicken and Turkey processing. Please email me at lisaallsup@gmail.com to confirm your date will work for you. Many of you with large orders have been split up between 2 - 3 processing dates.

We will have pick up in Herriman (address sent to your email). If it is on a Tuesday evening pickup will be from 6:30 - 7:00 pm. If it is Saturday it will be from 9:30 to 10:00 am.

Thanksgiving

At this time of year I want to thank all of our friends and family. It has been great serving you with your poultry needs. It has been a blessing in our lives to work with you, get to know you and raise chickens that get sold as fast as we can raise them.

Turkey orders

We just received our last turkey order for the season. Thank you for your interest. We had a hard time finding them this year and had to hatch them. We didn't get as many as we wanted but were please with the few we did get. Hopefully next year we will have more to share with you.

We are processing chickens every couple of weeks. We will email you to arrange pick up if it is your turn. Thank you for your patience in waiting for your chickens. We definitely have enough chickens to fill our orders they are just taking longer to grow as we have gone with heritage birds. We feel it is better meat, and better birds it just takes longer to get to processing weight.
